FAQ (Massage Therapy)

  • What techniques/modalities do you offer?

I am trained in and incorporate the following modalities into a session, based on the client’s needs:

    Swedish/Relaxation/Stress Relief

Deep tissue (pressure varies and is tailored to each client)

    Active & passive stretching

    Trigger point/neuromuscular therapy

    Myofascial Release

    Prenatal/Postpartum

    Trauma support massage

  • Is draping required?

YES. You will be draped during the entire session in a safe and discreet manner. You will undress to your level of comfort while I am in another room and will be covered with a sheet/blanket before I re-enter the room. If you need assistance with the process in any way, I can assist you with dressing and moving while you are completely covered at all times. It’s ok if you are nervous about what to expect. I will walk you through every step of the process and make sure you are comfortable throughout. I have zero tolerance for any client who does not respect therapeutic boundaries and will end a session immediately if needed.

  • How do I make an appointment?

You can email, reach out through social media, call or text me to inquire about an appointment. However, I will reach out to you via phone call prior to confirming a first appointment with you. In order to make an initial appointment, you must provide a referral name (someone you know that I know and trust). Safety is my utmost priority and I take my comfort as well as yours very seriously. We will also discuss what you are looking for and what I can provide to ensure a quality session. We will also discuss any potential allergies, contraindications, concerns, etc. After your first session, you are free to reach out to me through text, email, etc. and I will respond accordingly.
